Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it on your device. The App is a personal tool for tracking enclosure care, schedules, notes, and related media.

1. Summary

The App is designed to keep your collection data on your device. Care records, photos, attachments, and settings are stored locally in the App’s sandbox. The App does not require an account and does not upload your collection to our servers by default.

2. Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use the App, the following may be stored locally:

• Enclosure and care item details you enter (names, species notes, schedules, quantities, and similar records)
• Photos and attachments you add, saved as files in the App sandbox; the database stores relative file paths only
• App preferences, such as reminder settings and subscription unlock state on this device
• Locally generated export files (for example PDF or CSV) when you choose to export
• Widget snapshot data used to show care information on the home screen

3. Device features you may allow

If you choose to use related features, the App may request access to:

• Camera — to take photos or scan labels
• Photo library — to select existing images
• Notifications — to schedule local care reminders on this device

Camera and photo access are used only for the content you choose to capture or import. On-device text recognition may be used to help fill species or label fields from an image you provide. Notification permission is used only for local reminders; reminder content is not sent to our servers.

4. What we do not collect by default

The App does not, by default:

• Create user accounts or require sign-in
• Upload your enclosure data, photos, or notes to our servers
• Sell your personal information
• Use your collection content for advertising profiles

5. Purchases and platform services

Optional paid features (Pro) are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment details are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. The App may store a local flag on your device indicating whether Pro features are unlocked.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App. You can delete enclosures and related records within the App. Uninstalling the App removes App sandbox data from that device according to the operating system’s normal behavior. Exported files you save outside the App are under your control.

7. Children

The App is intended for general audiences who manage personal collections. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.

9. Your choices

• You can deny or revoke camera, photo, and notification permissions in system settings
• You can delete records and media inside the App
• You can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time
